Writing Coach Packages & Rates for Picture Books
We first begin with a free 30min consultation to discuss your needs and establish expectations.
Editing
MS REVIEW ($150)
Review of manuscript. I will provide comments in the margins and an editorial letter. This will include what I think is working, what doesn’t, and what’s needed.
Copy Editing ($100)
Clean-up of manuscript or query letter
Writing Coach
You can choose among four writing coach packages. Non-refundable monthly fees are due in advance at the beginning of each month via Venmo.
Coaching Package A ($300)
Two 30-minute phone coaching sessions per month (or equivalent)
Up to one hour of manuscript reading & assessment, developmental editing, and email exchanges.
Coaching Package B ($500)
Four 30-minute phone coaching sessions per month (or equivalent)
Up to two hours of manuscript reading & assessment and developmental editing—this could be for a manuscript or query letter, and email exchanges per month.
Coach Package C ($750)
Eight—two weekly—30-minute phone coaching sessions (or equivalent)
Up to four hours of manuscript reading & assessment and developmental editing—this could be for a manuscript or query letter, and email exchanges per month.
With any of these packages, additional reading, evaluations, and email exchanges extending past the agreed-upon time limits are available upon request and will be charged at $150/hour. *Writer will be notified before exchanges occur and additional charges made.
Together we will set month-by-month phone sessions and deadlines. If you must reschedule a 24-hour notice is required. Missed sessions must be made up during that same calendar month or be forfeited.
